Installing the Driver

The driver should download and install automatically when a colorimeter is first connected to a PC. If it does not this is probably because the security settings are blocking it. To get round this you can go here and get the driver suitable for your system.

THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW ARE ONLY FOR USE WITH THE OLDER, NON-WIRELESS VERSION OF THE COLORIMETER.

The driver is included in the download and can be found in the folder ../Program Files/Mystrica Ltd/Mystrica Colourimeter/Driver

Connect the colorimeter to a USB port.

The first time you connect the colorimeter to a computer you will probably see the ‘Connect New Hardware’ Wizard and you can use the ‘Install' from a list or specific location’ option to Browse to the driver location.
If you do not see the wizard then access the ‘Device Manager’ by right clicking ‘My Computer’, clicking ‘Properties’ and opening the ‘Hardware’ tab. Click ‘Ports’ and you should see the colorimeter associated with one of the ports. Right click it then click ‘Update Driver’. Then you can Browse to the driver location. (Windows XP shown - minor differences with other versions of windows.)
