AVOID SPILLS - USE CUVETTE CAPS
cuvettes Samples are placed in standard 4.5ml cuvettes with a 10mm light path. The minimum volume that can be measured is 1ml.

Organic solvents, particularly propanone should only be used with glass cuvettes or test tubes. Even ethanol should be avoided because some plastic cuvettes will shatter.
Small spills will be held in the well of the cuvette compartment and can easily be blotted up with a piece of rolled up tissue.
Ten plastic cuvettes with caps and a cuvette stand are supplied with each colorimeter.

Can only be used with Mystrica 2.0 Wireless Colorimeter

With older versions of the colorimeter the LEDs are less bright and external light will interfere with the readings if the cap is not kept on.
test-tubes 12mm test-tubes will fit the cuvette holder.
